Diese Mal dabei sind unsere Freund*innen von Thee Verduns aus Metz und The Golden Boots aus Tucson, Arizona. Die Boys von Golden Boots haben vor 3 Jahren für unser Jubiläum eine Kultshow mit ihren Lo-fi diy kaktusindie gespielt und wir freuen uns sehr sie wieder Willkommen zu heissen! Und auf Thee Verduns freuen wir uns auch sehr! Nico Moog ist nicht nur ein talentierter Musiker, er ist auch ein legendäres underground Cartoonist. Und Jeanne Rivière ist nicht nur eine coole Schlagzeugerin, sie ist auch eine feministische Autorin und hat letztes Jahr ihr Debut Roman „Lorraine brûle“ veröffentlicht. Ihr Schreiben ist raw, trash, poetisch, intim, politisch, intersektional. Ich bin Fan. Zusammen spielen sie ein rohes Folk Punk. Das wird gut!
The Golden Boots & Thee Verduns haben sich letztes Jahr zusammengetan und ein wunderbares Album namens „Carbon Footprint / Empreinte Carbone” aufgenommen, das sie nun für uns spielen und vorstellen wollen! Beide Bands werden jeweils eigene Sets spielen und sich außerdem zu einer DIY-Supergroup zusammenschließen! Preview the album here

Founded in 2002 by artists Ryen Eggleston and Dimitri Manos, Golden Boots blends lo-fi, ragged folk, and pop rock with a deep, playful deconstruction of American roots music. Over the years, the duo has been joined by various collaborators, infusing their performances and recordings with a diverse and charismatic energy. What unites all Golden Boots’ output is a spirited approach to blending indie and punk-country influences with the raw, earthy sounds of Americana.
Golden Boots’ live performances have spanned the USA, Mexico, France, Germany, the UK, and Belgium.
